Man proposes, but God disposes. Though Amanda and David loved and cared for each other, they could not be together due to David’s alcohol addiction. As a result, they were heading for a Pasco County divorce.
Amanda and David met in a rehab. They were both battling alcohol addiction. They soon became fast friends. Amanda was attracted to David’s charm. She was also very much impressed by David’s kindness and caring nature. Before they knew it, their friendship was gradually blooming into a romance. They decided to take it slow and steady. They got to know each other well prior to moving in together.
David was attracted to Amanda not only because of her looks, but also because of her interpersonal skills. Amanda was kind and very caring for him. She was someone with whom he could bank upon. They also had similar taste in TV serials, music, and friends.
Their relationship, however soured when they moved in together. They started noticing each other’s limitations. The situation deteriorated so much that they could not even see each other eye to eye. They have started fighting over everything. One of the main reasons for their constant quarreling was that Amanda sobered herself and David did not.
For David, he was at his best when he was drunk. He opened up a janitorial business by himself from scratch. According to him, he worked best under the influence of alcohol. This statement was intolerable for Amanda. She thought she teamed up with her companion to fight against this addiction. She had already lost years due to her struggle with alcohol addiction. It was not a trap that she could risk falling into again. For her, a sober household was a must. In fact, she moved in with David with an agreement that they would both be sober and pay the bills.
Though Amanda was not enticed to get a drink for herself again, David’s alcohol addiction would affect her sanity. It would certainly affect her calmness. David, however, felt that Amanda has been just hyper-sensitive about Alcohol. David was also disturbed by the fact that Amanda would constantly doubt him. She would also call him names and was verbally abusive. She would keep on ranting until David would leave the house.
Due to David’s addiction, the trust issues developed naturally in their relationship. In order to keep on consuming alcohol and avoid fighting with Amanda, he had no other option but to lie. Amanda’s huge circle of friends usually used to find the truth. David really hated their confrontation. Finally, they decided to go to the counseling. The counselor found that though they cared for each other they were not quite compatible. They followed her advice and decided to break up.
Soon they started to look for a Pasco County divorce lawyer. This Pasco County divorce also led to the selling of their house to MPS Home Solutions.
